April 26, 2014 Triacastela to Sarria

This morning after breakfast we drove to Triacastela and started our walk back to Sarria. It was drizzling and remained so for the ensuing three hours. It was only as we reached Samos that it stopped raining and it remained clear for the rest of the day. The walk from start to finish took nearly seven hours (from 9AM to 3:45 PM) with just one stop for a coffee when we got to Samos. We were fortunate that the Pulperia was still open so, just like yesterday, we had lunch there. The octopus was just as good!
