Day 13 - April 17 - Villafranca del Bierzo to La Faba

The stay at the Parador did us a lot of good. Nicest hotel we've stayed at so far. We had a robust breakfast since we knew that,it was going to be a hard stage of climbing. This was supposed to be the hardest stage of the entire walk. We all decided that it would be a mistake to try to go from Villafranca del Bierzo to O Cebreiro in one day so our target for the day became La Faba.
