Hours to go!!!!

Tomorrow is the departure day!

Got to leave the house by 4AM to go to SFO for a 6:35AM departure. Larry is flying with me on Delta to Madrid via Atlanta. Emilio and Ed are Flying on American via Dallas. Jose is driving up to Madrid from Marbella tomorrow. We'll all converge at the hotel next to the Chamartin train station in Madrid where we'll take the train ride to Burgos on Thursday morning.

Today the gang met for coffee. Turns out that tomorrow, April 2nd, is Al's birthday and the following day, April 3rd, is mine. Konni and Kassi, the First Street Coffee House mom and daughter, sprang a little surprise for the two of us. You can see the shock on our faces.

Manolo and Al Pastor

Before parting ways we all gathered outside the coffee house for another Kodak moment. Fist the travelers with Kassi and Konni.

Kassi, Emilio, Ed, Larry, Manolo, and Konni

And then with the rest of the gang.

Left to Right: Al, Manolo, Ron, Ed, Emilio, Bob, Larry, Anthony

This is my last posting using the iMac until I return from Spain. The next time I post I'll be using the iPad mini and/or the iPhone that are at the heart of the tech goodies I'm taking along. We'll see how it goes since I have very little experience boggling from an iMac and no experience blogging from a mobile device. If anyone knows of tools or can provide any hints to make it easier to keep all of you informed as we do our 300 pilgrimage, please, please let me know.

Hasta la Vista!
