It was windy and rainy all the way to Sahagun and beyond. When we reached Sahagun around 11:30 AM we found a little store where we got a custom-made bocadillo de jamon y queso. Emilio requested butter on his but the girl told him that she could not do it due to food safety regulations so he had to apply the butter himself. We left the shop and started to eat the sandwich while we walked in the rain.. It turned to be our only food for the rest of the journey until we got dinner.
By the time we reached El Burgo Ranero, we were totally exhausted and drained of energy. All of us felt this way.
Tomorrow we are taking a bus half way to Leon. No one wants to do the 23 miles (27 Km) that it would take us to get there if we walked all the way. We will end up walking 20 Km and reaching the hotel. Lets hope we don't miss the bus...
